Guidelines of contributions

  • eltforward encourages the submission of a variety of short manuscripts: e.g. articles, short responses to thematic Q & A.

  • eltforward does not publish manuscripts that have been concurrently submitted to or are already under consideration for publication in other journals (print or electronic).

  • The manuscripts accepted for publication should address an important question concerning English language education, English language teaching and learning in the primary or secondary levels. Please ensure your manuscript is written in a manner that is clear, concise, and coherent.

  • Length of manuscript: Not more than 3000 words (excluding references and appendices).

  • Visuals: Please use visuals only when they are really necessary. Try to include photos of student activities and use tables to summarize concepts and/or teaching strategies. Please represent all the visuals in PowerPoint first and reduce the size as far as possible, then copy them to your main document in WORD.

  • eltforward reserves the right to make any changes necessary to accepted articles.

  • Manuscripts must be submitted as an e-mail attachment accompanied by a manuscript submission form to the editorial address: ceciliachu@eltforward.com

  • Submission form to download:
